At Shadow Preppers we want everyone to be prepared when the unexpected happens. It’s hard to know where to get started and our goal is to make emergency preparedness less confusing and overwhelming.
Having lived on a self-sustained property for 20 years, we returned to our home in the suburbs of Los Angeles as Covid hit and realized how unprepared we were. Since then we’ve planned and researched before launching Shadow Prepper in 2024.
Our goal is to help prepare as many people as possible for a myriad of unexpected situations. From natural disasters and extreme weather to extended power outages and random shortages, unpredictable emergencies are becoming more and more common — it is no longer a crazy idea to prep! In fact, it’s no longer an option to treat preparedness lightly.
We’ve done the research and put together a comprehensive product list that goes from A to Z In the hopes of helping you face any emergency calmly and with confidence.
Having adequate food, water and first-aid is the foundation on which Shadow Prepper was built. Every item found here is considered and curated before making it onto our site. We want you to be prepared for short and long terms and we want to help get you there. We also want to help you with plans and preparation whether you stay in your home or have to bug out.
We named ourselves Shadow Preppers somewhat tongue-in-cheek. The days of doomsday prepping and people embarrassed to discuss their plans needs to go away, yet realistically, living in a big city like LA we can’t build a bunker and gather buckets of 50-year food and a 5 year supply. Our core belief is that a 3-day supply of food and water with a 5 year shelf life is a must. And we build from there helping you and your family manage any disaster, outage, pandemic or otherwise, with confidence.
We are a small, family-owned business who want to reach and prepare as many people as possible. Shadow Prepper is introducing a new view of prepping through education. Our product catalog is designed to be discussed and shared with friends, relatives and co-workers.
